Boraston Mains Water Updates

Updated: Jul 2

2nd July

STW will now finish laying pipe along Boraston Bank on the 20th July

From the 20th July to 21st Sept the road through the village from the T-Junction/White Gates to the Peacock will be closed except for access to local properties.

As the road is mainly single track passing by the holes being dug by STW will be challenging but STW will plate the holes when not physically working in the hole.

4th June

STW have finished laying pipe up to the Boraston white gates at the T-Junction. They are now laying pipe past the Old Rectory down towards Burford.

They estimate that work will take until 20th June although their published plan has work completing in late July.

Traffic disruption / road closures in working hours will continue until the work is completed New safety / road closure barriers are being erected so the road will be closed to all traffic when STW are on site.

Work may start in the village from the White Gates down to the Peacock in late June but STW have promised they will not be working on both roads at the same time.

11th April

STW have finished work between Dinthill and the Bridge.

They are now working south from the bridge to the Nash/Whatmore Junction.

The road is 100% blocked and even on foot the bridge cannot be reached from Boraston.

From 5th May STW will move to Burford and work north towards Boraston. The road will be closed for approximately 7 weeks.

11th March

STW are currently working North of Dinthill towards Trapnell Junction and then past it towards the bridge. They are expected to be in the Dinthill area for the next 2 weeks.

11th Feb

STW have started work near Dinthill Barn working towards the Bridge
